Interested in writing for Young Adults? Linda Strachan has written everything from award-winning Young Adult crime novels to picture books. including the bestselling Hamish McHaggis series. She is the author of the writing handbook, Writing for Children, and more than 60 other books. Some of her educational books are used in schools in USA, Australia and China. An enthusiastic and inspiring creative writing tutor for both adults and children, she has been invited to speak at schools, universities and festivals all over the UK and as far away as New Zealand. Linda is also the former Chair of the Society of Authors in Scotland.
