A Happy New Year to all Weegie Wednesday members!
We apologise for the late announcement, but we'd like to invite members to participate in the first event of 2018 which will be an Open Mic evening. These have been very popular every time they have taken place and we hope you will want to take part.
Open Mic events allow members to talk for three minutes about themselves, about their work, their successes, and their future projects. This time in particular, being at the start of the year, we'd like to hear what your hopes are - literaturewise - for 2018!
We have space for 10 members to speak for 3 minutes each. We will keep the timing strict - you don't have to speak for all of the 3 minutes if you don't want to, but you do have to stop when we tell you!
To book a slot send your name to Jerry Brannigan via his Facebook link https://www.facebook.com/jerry.brannigan1
Looking forward to seeing you at the Terrace Bar, CCA, Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow from 7:30 pm, 17th January 2018. The presentations will start at 8 pm sharp.
