Lesley Traynor lives in Glasgow and is the author of two novels, Anomalies and Revelations. Her Poetry has been published most recently in 404Ink and the New York magazine, Anti Heroin Chic. Her pamphlet of poetry written in the Pinacotteca di Brera in Milan should be out later this year. She has just won the four ages Slam at the Tron theatre and is a 2016 Scottish Slam Poetry finalist.
She is founder of Woman Poets with Fierce Words and the co-founder of Fierce Poetry in Motion which produces and supports Poetry Films, bringing them to a wider audience at events around Scotland and is currently running the THRAWN project which encourages women around the World to support other women have a voice by being filmed reading the poem THRAWN.
As a committee member of the Federation of Writers (Scotland) she supports emerging younger writers. She is also member of Scottish Writers' Centre and supporter of Scottish Pen.
