Then at 7.30pm we are delighted to announce that our speaker is John Farman. John will speak about the business of publishing comics.
About John Farman Writer: Editor & Publisher, Vital Publishing
Based in Glasgow, John Farman is the writer and commissioning editor for Vital Publishing, a publisher of comics. John is responsible for editing, lettering and production for the comics the company publishes. Other duties include promoting the company’s brand and titles on social media and attending various conventions around the country. Vital Publishing was formed in Oct 2014 by John Farman and Marc de Launay. Recognising the potential for a line up of new and edgy comic titles, the company released horror titles, ‘The School of the Damned’, ‘Tales of the Damned’ and ‘Purity Ring’, as well as the highly controversial British social satire, ‘Royal Descent’ and most recently, the action-packed espionage title, ‘SPIES’.
